Mountain Information

Keystone Ski Resort encompasses three consecutive mountains, called Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and the Outback. Each has very distinct features and types of runs. Whether you seek the bumps, the steeps, the trees, the park, or the lights, Keystone is where you want to be. Keystone has terrain for all abilities. The ski area encompasses 2,870 acres of fantastic skiing and snowboarding terrain. 19% of the mountains are dedicated to beginner runs, 32% for intermediate, and 49% for advanced. Although the mountain gets 230 inches of annual snowfall on average, its snowmaking system drops snow on over 600 of these acres. Keystone has a vertical drop of 3,128 feet and has 19 lifts, including two gondolas, to access as much of that drop as you want. There are 117 trails from which to choose. The longest run is 3.5 miles, called Schoolmarm. And if you like to spend your winter days on jumps and rails, make sure to check out A51 Terrain Park, the largest night terrain park.

Keystone is open from 9am to 4pm, or 9pm on days that night skiing is open. It is home to the largest night skiing operation in Colorado. 15 trails on Keystone are lit up during peak season. Night skiing is open for Thanksgiving from November 23rd to the 27th. It is then open of Fridays and Saturdays during the first two weeks of December. From December 16th to January 1st, night skiing is open seven days a week. From January 4th to close, it is open from Wednesdays through Sundays.
