Free Summit Stage Bus

Beginning operation in 1977, the Summit Stage Bus now provides free services to nearly 1.75 million riders every year and continues to grow. Originally only providing services in the winter, the Free Summit Stage Bus, now provides services year round. Summit Stage Bus transfer stations are located through out Summit County at Frisco, Silverthorne, and Breckenridge. In the winter the buses are equipped with ski/snowboard racks and in the summer, they are equipped with bike racks.

There are three types of buss routes available: town to town, residential and shuttle. The town to town routes include Breckenridge to and from Frisco, Copper Mountain to and from Frisco, Keystone to and from Frisco, and Silverthorne to and from Frisco. All of these routes meet at the Frisco transfer station.

The residential routes transport passengers to Boreas Pass and Warrior's Mark. Both of these services leave from the Breckenridge Station. Departing from the Silverthorne station are the Wilderness routes. In the winter, the Summit Stage Bus works with Keystone Transportation to provide service between the Arapahoe Basin ski area and Keystone.

No matter where you want to go in Summit County or whatever activity you want to participate in, with a little planning, you can travel to you destination free via the Summit Stage Bus.
