Denver International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world. It is located on 34,000 acres which is equal to 53 square miles. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Denver International Airport handles a huge amount of passengers and cargo each day. Many of those passengers are on their way to or from the great recreational area of Summit County, Colorado. Despite the fact that the airport is only 10 years old, it is the fifth busiest airport in the nation and the 10th busiest airport in the world.
