Because of the mountain weather patterns in Summit County, hot air
balloon flights always embark early in the morning. There could not be
a better way to start your day! Sunrise ride packages include
gourmet breakfast, champagne and classical music. A photograph of
your adventure is also included.
Once in the air, you will be able to see 100 miles in every
direction. You'll see some the ski areas of Summit County-
perhaps Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain or Arapahoe
Basin. The balloon will rise slowly along the treetops and reach
as high as 3,000 feet above the ground. During an hour long trip,
a hot air balloon will travel about 2-10 miles over mountainous
terrain. Be sure to make a reservation at least a couple weeks in
advance as space is limited and this activity is extremely
popular. Groups of up to 20 people can be accommodated.
