Jobs / Employment

People don't usually move to Keystone or Breckenridge, Colorado because of the job market. The surrounding mountains, outdoor recreation opportunities, and the local community are what lure newcomers to the area. But that doesn't mean that it's a hard place to make a living.

The amount of tourism that the area receives in both winter and summer months creates numerous employment opportunities. In fact, out of Summit County's total income, tourism accounts for just below 40 percent of it. And ski tourism alone accounts for 25 percent. These tourism based Breckenridge jobs can vary between lodging, recreation, eating establishments, retail trade, and services. Other markets in the Keystone and Breckenridge area include real estate, construction, and transportation. As the area continues to boom with tourists, jobs in the industry will continue to be available. Check out the job listings for the area and learn why people move here and never leave.
