The Hartford Ski Spectacular takes place at the Beaver Run Resort at Breckenridge Ski Area in Colorado each December. This is the world's largest winter sports event for people who have physical disabilities.


The Hartford Ski Spectacular takes place at the Beaver Run Resort at Breckenridge Ski Area in Colorado each December. This is the world's largest winter sports event for people who have physical disabilities. The event is conducted by the U.S. Olympic Committee member Disabled Sports USA and sponsored by the Hartford Financial Services Group. The event draws more than 600 participants each year. Disabled individuals of all ages from around the country will attend The Hartford Ski Spectacular. Throughout the week, they will have access to learn-to-ski and learn-to-snowboard clinics, as well as adaptive equipment demonstrations provided by the most experienced adaptive sports organizations from around the globe. This is definitely one of the most worthwhile skiing events of the year.
