Colorado Governer's Cup Nordic & Snowshoe Races
All within minutes of the town of Frisco are Summit County's many world-class ski areas – Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Keystone. The town of Frisco also sponsors the Colorado's Governor's Cup Nordic and Snowshoe Races which take place each January. This annual even features 5K, 10K, and 15K Nordic skate races. The event also includes a 5K snowshoe race. After the racing events there is a meal which takes place at the Frisco Nordic Center. Come enjoy the activities either as a spectator or as a participant and while here, enjoy all the ambiance of Summit County Colorado.
