Arapahoe Basin Ski Enduro

If you are a hard core skier, most likely more than once you have competed against yourself or with your friends to see how many runs you can make in one day on any given ski slope. But at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Colorado, you can take part in a high caliber endurance race that will pit you against other skier in a race against time. Starting at 7 am and lasting until 5 pm, skiers and riders take laps on the Pali chair without stopping. All the proceeds from this ski endurance event benefit one of the local charities. If you think you are a hard core skier, come to Arapahoe Basin and plan on participating in this event. Just remember one thing – the number of runs to beat is 67.

Event Details: A grueling 10-hour competition to see how many runs off the Pallavicini lift a team of two can ski in one day. The current record is 72 runs. This event happens mid-April on a Wednesday.
