Internet Access

Summit County, Colorado, is a wonderful place to visit small town life and stunning countryside. Many visitors hail from all parts of the globe, not just setting off on a vacation, but sometimes descending on the area for business purposes. With that in mind, the county has set about expanding Internet access in most of its urbanized areas to better serve the local communities and the tourism industry. There are now five towns with varied levels of access, including Wi-Fi.

Not so long ago, Internet access for visitors and most especially Wi-Fi, was limited in Colorado's Summit County. However, today, with a growing tourism base and frequent business travelers passing through, the need to make Internet access, including Wi-Fi, into a standard amenity became a priority. Now locals and guests alike can enjoy free access in varied towns, including Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne.

Breckenridge has seven locations to choose from for free Wi-Fi. These include Mountain Java (118 South Ridge Street), The House With The Red Door (the Summit Ridge Center, Unit 202), the Singletrack Cafe (400 North Park Ave), Clint's Coffee Shop (131 South Main Street), the Petal and Bean (400 North Park Avenue), Clint's (131 North Main Street) and Airport Road Auto Repair (1700 Airport Road).

Dillon only has one free Wi-Fi outlet, located at the Dillon Dam Brewery (1234 Colorado Route 9), and Frisco, has two, located at the Log Cabin Restaurant (121 Main Street) and Safeway (1008 North Summit Boulevard). Keystone offers the same services through the local Starbucks in the River Run Village and at the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area (28194 US Highway 6). Silverthorne Wi-Fi is available late into the evening at the Steaming Bean (286 Summit Place) and at the Red Village Outlet Store's cafe, just across the street.
