Loveland Pass

Loveland Pass is a beautiful winter destination, near Colorado's many ski areas. Here you can enjoy all the skiing and snowboarding you want for free!

Loveland Pass is a unique destination you should visit if you want to have a good time with your family for an affordable price. This ski area is located where there's not a lot of hiking, however, people come here mainly for the skiing so this shouldn't be a problem. Visitors to the region often come to the Loveland Ski Area to enjoy the steep terrain and have a great time.

This ski destination is shaped like a horseshoe surrounding the interstate. It abuts the Continental Divide on three sides - which means you get to experience slopes that face every direction except west. Most of the ski lifts bring you above tree line, so it's simple to scout out lines across the mountain. Loveland receives tons of snow each year, approximately 450 inches a season fell in the 1990s, so you won't be disappointed.

Loveland Pass is accessible from November to July.
