Breckenridge Recreation Center

The Recreation Center located in Breckenridge, Colorado is a fabulous facility, which has accommodations for every sports or recreational activity that anyone could possibly imagine. The Breckenridge Recreation Center is located in a beautiful spot along the Blue River.

The facility has areas for outdoor tennis, indoor tennis, racquet ball, a lap pool, and a kiddie pool complete with a slide, a rock climbing wall, free weights, weight machines, stationary bikes, treadmills, and stair step machines. The facility also has a gym for indoor basketball, an area for aerobics and Tae Kwon Do, a skateboard park, and a beginner skateboard park. There is also an area for outdoor basketball and softball and soccer.

This great sports and activity facility opened in December 1991 and was built at a cost of approximately $8.3 million. The entire facility has a total of 69,000 square feet of enclosed facilities and a vast area for outdoor activities. In addition to all the areas of activity mentioned previously, there are child care rooms and a playground, a physical therapy program, and a pro shop with a vending area.
